Lee Ellsworth is repeating this popular class with a daytime and evening session. Join us for another opportunity to learn the basics of frame quilting. Class will be conducted on our new Joy Magic Frame with the TinLizzie 18S. Class is open to all frame owners or those interest in seeing what it is all about.

You will learn about: Preparation of your quilt back, batting, and the quilt top. Then you will learn the basics of the frame, loading your quilt with some hands on practice.

After at home practice of loading and basic stippling, which were covered in the Basic Frame Quilting classes, most novice machine quilters are anxious to learn some new techniques to make their quilts more interesting. The advanced TinLizzie 18S Frame Quilting Class picks up where our basic series left off. Stitching topics: Pantographs, borders, feathers, echo/fill work for appilques and ruler work. Bring your ideas and questions for a fun and informative day.

Everyone admired this tree skirt made by Kym and Anne of the Sewing Revolution.  It has been requested for a class since their visit.  So I have decided to start it during our “Christmas in July” and offer it as a monthly class to be completed by the Holidays.  The embroidery on the tree skirt will be marked using the sewing revolution rulers.  The embroidery could be done on any embroidery machine.  This would even be a great project for MB4 owners as the embroidery uses only 4 colors.
