In this informative and entertaining class, you will learn to properly care for your machine, prevent costly repairs and diagnose problems.  You will be provided with a lint brush and machine oil as Rick guides you through preventive maintenance on your own machine-any make or model.  He will explain issues that he addresses during a machine service and discuss the importance of using proper needles and threads.  You will gain a better understanding of how a sewing machine operates and a greater appreciation for Rick-he hopes!

I’m happy to announce new quilting instructors offering classes at Super Stitch-Darlene Orschek, Cindy Carlson and Lee Ellsworth.Darlene Orschek has developed an impressive reputation as a quilter, longarmer, and teacher after a lifetime of quilting, including 10 years providing longarm quilting and 10 years of teaching.  Darlene has been a semi-finalist at Paducah and has been published in 3 quilting magazines.  One of her quilts was even chosen to be on a Christmas card.  As one of the founders of the North East Crazy Quilters Quilt Guild, she has been promoting quilting in our area for 25 years.  We are delighted to have her offer classes for you.

Classes are now scheduled through March.  Click on the link below or the category to the right to read the individual class descriptions.  You can register online or call.  Please register early as classes fill quickly.  An online registration will hold your place until payment is made. You will receive an email reminder prior to class with your supply list.  You may want to call before coming if the weather is bad.  If class needs to be cancelled due to weather, every effort will be made to reschedule it.  Refunds will be made if class cannot be rescheduled.  If you need to cancel a class for which you have registered, please provide 1 week’s notice so that we may contact someone on the waiting list.
