Embroidery Club is Free to Super Stitch Embroidery machine owners.  Each month will feature a project made with your embroidery machine.  Most projects can be made on most models.  Please read the description of each project for details.  Please bring your embroidery foot, hoops and transfer device (USB stick or flash card).

June

Project:  Anita Goodesign Seeing Double Table Topper

We’ve had a lot of interest in this project.  You will make 2 “wings” and join them in the hoop during class.  If there is enough time, you can embroider the center.  I will demonstrate how you will complete the topper, so you can finish it at home after making the rest of the “wings”.  You can register for a UFO class if you wish to complete it in class.

JULY

Project:  Jenny Haskin’s Snow Angel

You will create your own ribbon, lace, and braid applique fabric in the hoop.  Other techniques include tassel making and twisted cord.

AUGUST

Project:  Lace Overlay (quilting outside the box)

You will use stippling designs to create a lace overlay.  You can apply it to a blouse as pictured or to another project of your choice.  This is just one more example of the possibilities available using the built-in stippling designs on the 11000SE.  Owners of other embroidery models will receive the designs for the project.  Please remember to bring a compact flash card or USB stick.

Serger Club features projects and lessons to help you make the most of your serger.  Classes are FREE to Super Stitch serger owners.  If you wish to try a serger, you are welcome to try a class at no charge to see what the fun is all about.  Some classes require a kit fee. If you own a serger not purchased at Super Stitch, you can attend Serger Club project for a $10 class fee.  You will need to have an understanding of your serger operation.

Project:  Sweatshirt
Date and time:  Thursday, June 24th  from 1-4

Project:  Sampler Pillow

You will learn to create decorative stitches with your serger and make a gathered ruffle with a rolled hem.  1200D and Compulock serger owners and/or Cover Pro owners will use coverstitch and double chain.  Other serger owners will create decorative flatlocking.

Project:  Serger Companion

This is a must have for anyone who has a serger! The accessory pockets keep those things handy that are necessary for successful serging. The large pocket catches all those fabric scraps that can easily be discarded later. When attending serger classes you don’t have to worry about where to put your “extras”.
