Let’s Twist . . . Again!

The pinwheel craze continues with more patterns using the “Twister” tools and takes you to the next level of creativeness using strips, charm squares and disappearing pinwheels.

 Moda’s ” Nature’s Gift ” fabric line, the pretty pointsettas, soft, silver snowflakes, and Christmas cardinals will compliment any flower centerpiece you will have on your dining room table this year. 

Measuring 18 1/2″ X 26″, the twisted center is made using the Lil’ Twister ruler.

We will be starting another Smith Street design project, Classic Beauty. 

There will be 3 different sizes available to stitch out.  A small wallhanging 30″ x 30″, a larger wallhanging 48″ X 48″ or a twin size quilt. 

We will start with stitching out 2 of the flower blocks and begin to piece the traditional quilting blocks that go along with the project.

Hoopsister’s Goose Tracks

                               Hoopsisters 2011 Block of the Month Goosetracks is totally different than anything they’ve done in the past.  You will enjoy making completely different blocks each month, rather than 4 of the same block.     

                                    We are working on getting all the blocks and the border blocks put together.

Moda is celebrating this holday season with the release of their new line, “Northern Cardinal”,  by Holly Taylor.  With coordinating pieces, this beautiful fabric features winter’s signature bird in a tan or light background.  When combined with flying geese blocks and a pillow form, you can create a beautiful pillow that will decorate your home from December through February.

Serger Club features projects and lessons to help you make the most of your serger.  Classes are FREE to Super Stitch serger owners.  If you wish to try a serger, you are welcome to try a class at no charge to see what the fun is all about.  Some classes require a kit fee. If you own a serger not purchased at Super Stitch, you can attend Serger Club project for a $10 class fee.  You will need to have an understanding of your serger operation.
