We will be creating this St. Patrick’s Day wall hanging using the Anita Goodesign, “Holiday Tea Towels”. Janome 11000 owners, this is an excellent time to learn how to use the “Acufil hoops”.

We are getting ready to start creating the “Roses In Bloom” project . This is an applique quilt designed for your embroidery machine. The CD-ROM is multi-formatted and must be purchased to participate in the class.
The first meeting will be an informative gathering, just to go over the project, what fabrics, stabilizers, threads, sizes of hoops that will be used. We will meet on the first Monday (both a.m. and p.m. classes) and the 2nd Saturday (a.m. class) of each month.

EMBROIDERY BASH
Chris DeRoss returns with the latest from Anita Goodesign. There have been so many exciting new releases including the new Victorian Rose Collection, as well as new tile scenes, crazy patch quilts, applique and cutwork-all done in your embroidery hoop! You don’t want to miss the fun. Everyone is invited! If you’ve never done machine embroidery before, this is your chance to see how easy and fun it is. Experienced machine emboiderers-any brand-will discover the latest techniques created in your embroidery hoop. All projects are created in a team environment so you will feel comfortable learning and sharing in a party atmosphere.
There is nothing to bring. Kits, lunch and Janome Memory Craft 11000SE machines are provided.

Our 2010 event will be held in our new spacious Warren location. If you haven’t visited the new store yet, this is your opportunity to see it. Those living in the Warren surrounding areas will be happy to have an event closer to home. For our customers who regularly visit the North East location, we will organize carpools. Please indicate any interest in a carpool when your register.

In this informative and entertaining class, you will learn to properly care for your machine, prevent costly repairs and diagnose problems. You will be provided with a lint brush and machine oil as Rick guides you through preventive maintenance on your own machine-any make or model. He will explain issues that he addresses during a machine service and discuss the importance of using proper needles and threads. You will gain a better understanding of how a sewing machine operates and a greater appreciation for Rick-he hopes!
