In 1983, Rick and Ann Maas opened Super Stitch in the Concord Hotel in North East, PA. providing sales and service of sewing machines.

In 2000, North East Vacuum Center was purchased, combining the 2 businesses and relocating to 55 West Main St.

Following a fire December 30, 2016 that destroyed that location, a new building was purchased at 10429 West Main Rd. and completely renovated. Finally in mid-October 2017, with the support of customers and the North East Community an all new Super Stitch was opened in the new location. You will find a bright, spacious showroom filled with fabric, notions, sewing machines and vacuums as well as a large classroom. Plenty of parking is available in front and back of the building, with additional land for expansion.

Super Stitch is a Janome and Brother sewing machine dealer, ranking in the Top 25 Janome dealers in the country.
