Learn to recognize and fix mistakes in your knitting. This class will be a workshop where we practice fixing mistakes. The focus will be on skill building, rather than a finished project. Students should already know how to knit and purl before taking this class.
Fee: $ 35.00
Date: Tuesday, April 30th from 10-12
Materials needed: (Homework in advance)
- Bring a knitting swatch in progress. Using any yarn and any needle, cast on 20 stitches. Knit 4 Rows in garter stitch (knit every row) and then 6 rows in stockinette stitch (knit a row, purl a row, repeat these two rows) Leave the stitches on the needle. We will use this swatch to do some practice exercises during the class.
- Double point needles of the same size or smaller than your swatch needles if you have them.
- Waste yarn of a contrasting color
- Crochet hook – any size.
- Tapestry needle
- Safety pin
