More About the Sew Along

THE SEW ALONG EXPERIENCE

THERE WILL BE A SEPARATE FACEBOOK GROUP ONLY FOR THOSE THAT HAVE PURCHASED SPLENDID STAR. YOU WILL BE GIVEN A QR CODE BY THE SHOP AFTER YOU MAKE YOUR PURCHASE.

CONSISTS OF TWO SESSIONS

FIRST SESSION RUNS FEBRUARY – MAY / SECOND SESSION RUNS AUGUST – NOVEMBER

Work at your own pace or follow the schedule to complete your Splendid Star Quilt by the end of the session.

Each LIVE listed below will feature a demonstration stitching out the block step-by-step, as well as, trimming the block using the Trimmer by George 3.0.

The HoopSisters, Annie & Lynda, designer of Splendid Star, Sarah Congdon, Aubrey and Nina along with your local quilt shop owner and class participants, as well as, many others joining us on this journey from all over will be in the group.

As always, we will be answering any questions asked in the comments in real time during our LIVE.

• • HoopSisters will be hosting a Sew Along for our 2024 Shop Exclusive Quilt, Splendid
    Star. The Sew Along will consist of monthly LIVES and more with quilt designers Sarah
    Congdon and Annie Moody.

• • The Splendid Star Sew Along will happen in the HoopSisters’ Splendid Star Shop Exclusive Sew Along Facebook Group. This is a private group for paid participants only. Customers will need to answer four questions in order to be approved to join the group as this is for paid participants only.
  • LIVES will be streamed on the specified Thursdays at 11:00am EST. The LIVE will then be restreamed in the same group at 2:00pm EST. Recorded How To Videos will be posted at 2pm EST on the specified dates.
  • HoopSisters is offering this Sew Along in two different sessions. Each session will cover the quilt in its entirety.
  • A Q&A Thread will be pinned to the top of the Facebook Group for any questions customers have regarding blocks or the HoopSisters’ method. These questions will be answered in the comments, as well as, on the next LIVE.
  • There will not be consistent content until our Getting Started LIVE on January 4th. We will tag everyone in the group in this LIVE, so even if they forget, they’ll be notified.
