This is a class for true beginning knitters.  An overview of knitting terms, yarn and needle types, and other examples will be given.  Skills covered will include casting on, executing the basic knit stitch, yarn tension, counting rows, avoiding mistakes and casting off.  Following the class, students will have the skills needed to make this hat.  

 $20 Class fee includes hat pattern. (to be completed on your own following class)

Supply list:
Knitting needles-wooden size 7-9 recommended
Practice yarn

Or-class kit available for $15.00 covers knitting needles and practice yarn.(paid to instructor at class)

Yarn needed for hat sold separately.
