Super Stitch Social
Make sure you join us for the May 2025 Social on Friday, May 2, 2025 at 10am!
We are always planning something new for our classes and events, and always have new inventory coming in. Come to the Social (or log in from home) for all of the details on everything that is new, and to learn about our upcoming events and classes.
Plus, we will have the usual information to share with you, our show and tell, refreshments and prizes. (If you are attending in-store, don’t forget to bring ONE show and tell item that you have made to share with everyone!)
Attend in-store or join us on the live-stream. Registered in-store attendees will receive a free Fat Quarter. We are doing away with the “virtual” registration; no need to register if attending virtually. Just log in and watch from Facebook or YouTube that day. In-store registrations are appreciated so we can plan on the appropriate amount of refreshments.
Mother / Daughter Jelly Roll Race - May 3rd
Join us on Saturday, May 3rd for a fun Event for Mothers and Daughters. Gather your mom or your daughter (or niece, sister or friend) as your teammate, and come in for our Mother/Daughter Mother’s Day Jelly Roll Race!
We will be using the pictured Jelly Roll, and each team will leave with one finished quilt top (…. but its up to you to decide which teammate gets to keep it!).
The cost is just $50 per team, which covers the fabric for your one shared quilt top, refreshments and prizes! Only one team member will complete the registration, which will register both teammates.
Each team needs to bring just one shared sewing machine, thread, a 1/4″ presser foot, and foot controller. If you need a machine provided, please indicate that in the check-out process.
What a fun way to celebrate the upcoming Mother’s Day Holiday with your loved one!!
Darlene will quilt the winning team’s quilt top for them, as the Grand Prize!
"Centerpieced" Runner Class
Join Darlene for this fun class to make “Centerpieced’, a runner by Robin Pickens Quilt Patterns, featuring Superbloom fabric by Moda. This pattern features small piecing, which is a great fit for intermediate quilters, looking to work on quilt block piecing skills.
Class fee includes pattern and all fabric to make the 40.5″ length runner top and binding, which includes a Superbloom charm pack! Backing sold separately.
This runner is 16.5″ wide, and the pattern is written for 3 different lengths: 40.5″, 60.5″ and 80.5″. Best of all, your one charm pack is enough to make any one of these 3 sizes – even the 80.5″ runner!
Class kit fabrics are cut for the 40.5″ size runner, and the class will focus on that size of runner due to time limitations, but you could easily purchase additional yardage to make your runner into a longer length after the class.
Class fee of $59 includes fabric kit for 16.5″ x 40.5″ runner top and binding, plus the printed pattern and instruction. Backing sold separately.

HoopSister's "Birds in Bloom" Workshop
Join us for a Workshop to help learn how to make this adorable wall hanging on Friday, May 30, 2025 at 10am. Attend In-store or Virtual.
The Workshop is free, however there is a required purchase of the Birds in Bloom Design Files and Fabric kit in order to complete your wall hanging.
OESD - Special 3-day Embroidery Event
This is an In-store event that you don’t want to miss!! We are so a excited to welcome an OESD Educator and have fun while learning!
Join us on Thursday, June 5th and Friday, June 6th for “Welcome Home with OESD” and also join us on Saturday, June 7th for “Embroidery Hoop Camp”!
Welcome Home with OESD is a 2-day hands-on event using provided machines.
Embroidery Hoop Camp with OESD is a one day lecture-demo.
Choose to attend either session, or both. (Although we HIGHLY encourage you to attend both!). Special registration savings if you register for both sessions using the Bundled Registration Option.
