We had several young registrations for the beginner knitting class, so Ellen is adding a separate Kids Knitting class on Saturday, Oct. 14th from 10-12.
Ellen will adapt the class to help the young hands learn the skill of knitting. She recommends 9 inch size 10 needles.
This is a class for true beginning knitters. An overview of knitting terms, yarn and needle types, and other examples will be given. Skills covered will include casting on, executing the basic knit stitch, yarn tension, counting rows, avoiding mistakes and casting off. Following the class, students will have the skills needed to make this hat.
$25 Class fee includes hat pattern. (to be completed on your own following class)

Knitting needles-wooden size 10 recommended
Practice yarn
